El Nido is located at the northern tip of Palawan, a long, narrow island province in the Western Philippines—often hailed as the “World’sBest Island. ” It is about 420 kilometers southwest of Manila.
Geographically, El Nido sits between the South China Sea and the Sulu Sea, forming part of the El Nido– Taytay Managed Resource Protected Area, which includes 45 islands and islets of the world-famous Bacuit Archipelago.
